1. Accepting these terms
By using perthlivin.com or any of our apps, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. We may update these terms over time; the "Last updated" date above tells you when we last did.
2. What Wondr Out is
Wondr Out is a curated discovery platform for spots around the world. We list places, let you save them, let you build day plans, and let you submit tips and share trips. It's free to use for personal discovery.
3. Your content (tips, reviews, shared trips)
What you can submit
- Tips and reviews about spots you've actually visited.
- Shared trips — day plans you want to publish for others to follow.
- Reflections and ratings on your own day plans.
What you grant us
When you submit content (a tip, a trip, a reflection), you give Wondr Out a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, adapt, and promote that content in connection with the service. You keep ownership of what you wrote — we don't claim it as ours. You can ask us to delete it anytime.
What you must not submit
- Content that's illegal, defamatory, harassing, or hateful.
- Personal information about other people (names, addresses, photos of identifiable strangers).
- Paid reviews or promotional content masquerading as a genuine tip.
- Content you don't own or don't have permission to share.
- Scraped, auto-generated, or AI-generated content without disclosure.
Moderation
All tips and shared trips are reviewed before they go live. We may edit lightly for clarity or format. We may reject content that breaks these rules or just doesn't fit the tone of the platform. You'll be able to see whether your submission is published by visiting the spot it was attached to.
4. Accuracy of listings
We try hard to keep spot info (opening hours, prices, addresses) accurate, but we don't guarantee it. Always double-check before you drive somewhere — call the venue or check their website. If something's wrong, let us know at hello@perthlivin.com.
5. Third-party venues
Spots listed on Wondr Out are not endorsements in a legal sense. Venues, businesses, and locations we list aren't affiliated with Wondr Out unless explicitly stated (e.g. a paid Featured Partner listing). We take no responsibility for anything that happens at or because of a listed spot — please use common sense and check safety conditions (tides, weather, opening status) before you go.
6. Partner listings and advertising
Some venues are paid partners (see our partners page). Paid listings are marked, typically with a "Wondr Out Pick" or "Featured" badge. Editorial placement and paid placement are clearly distinguished. We don't accept payment to remove negative reviews or manipulate rankings.
7. Intellectual property
Wondr Out's branding, copy, photographs we've taken, and code are ours. You're welcome to share links to spots and screenshots on social, but please don't copy our content wholesale (lists, written descriptions, photos we shot) without asking.
8. Embedded social videos (Watch feed)
The Watch tab plays short videos by embedding posts directly from Instagram and TikTok using their official embed APIs. The videos are served from those platforms — we don't host, copy, or modify them. The original creator owns the content; the platform owns the embed mechanism; we just curate which posts get featured because they relate to a spot we list.
If you're a creator and want a video featuring your content removed from the Watch feed, email hello@perthlivin.com with the video URL or your handle. We'll remove it within 7 days. You can also remove it instantly yourself by deleting or privatising the original post on Instagram / TikTok — embeds disappear automatically when the source is gone.
If you're a user, tapping "Follow" on a Watch card takes you to the creator's profile on the original platform, where their terms of service apply.
9. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Scrape our data with bots or automated tools.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or break the service.
- Submit spam, malware, or phishing links.
- Impersonate Wondr Out staff or other users.
- Abuse the tip / review system to harass businesses or individuals.
10. Deleting your content
You can ask us to delete anything you've submitted by emailing hello@perthlivin.com with either your device ID (run localStorage.getItem('pl_device_id') in your browser console on perthlivin.com) or the text of what you submitted. We'll remove it within 30 days.
11. Warranty disclaimer
Wondr Out is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be available, accurate, or error-free. Use at your own risk. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us (which, for free users, is zero).
12. Termination
We may suspend or restrict access for anyone who breaks these terms. You can stop using Wondr Out at any time — just close the tab and clear your browser data.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes are handled in Perth courts.
