The creator program lets you share spots, photos, videos, trips and lists about places you know, which we display on Wondr Out. Creator access is currently by invitation. By joining, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and that you agree to these terms and to our general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
"Your content" means anything you submit — links to your videos, photos you upload, captions, ratings, tips, trips, lists, guides, your profile and handle.
You keep ownership of your content. By submitting it, you grant Wondr Out a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt (for example, to resize a photo or format text) and promote your content on Wondr Out and in our marketing of Wondr Out, with credit to your creator profile. This licence lasts while your content is on Wondr Out and for a reasonable period afterwards for backups and records.
Videos you link from TikTok, Instagram or YouTube remain on those platforms and are shown via their embeds. Photos you upload are stored by us under the licence above.
You confirm that, for everything you submit:
You agree not to: submit spam, fake or duplicate spots; impersonate others; post content unrelated to genuine local places; or use the program to mislead people or harm a business. Keep it honest and in the spirit of helping people discover real places.
Wondr Out may review, edit, re-order, decline, hide, or remove any content, and may suspend or close a creator account, at our discretion — for example if content breaks these terms, a venue raises a valid concern, or the content is inaccurate. We try to be fair, but we are not obliged to publish or keep any particular content.
You can offer paid content on Wondr Out — for example paid guides and lists, and monthly subscriptions that give members access to your content. You set the price of what you sell, within any limits we set. Wondr Out provides the platform that lets buyers discover and pay for your content; the content itself is yours and you are responsible for delivering what you describe.
Buyers pay through our payment provider. For each sale or subscription payment, Wondr Out acts as a limited platform facilitator to collect the payment and pass on your share.
Wondr Out keeps a platform fee of 10% of the price of each paid guide, list or subscription payment, and you keep the remaining 90%. Payment-processing fees charged by our payment provider may also apply and, where they do, are deducted before or from your share. We may change the platform fee in the future; if we do, we will give creators reasonable notice and it will only apply to sales made after the change.
Payouts are handled by our payment provider, Stripe, through a connected payout account. To receive money you must set up and keep a valid Stripe payout account and provide the identity, bank and tax details Stripe requires. Your use of Stripe is also governed by Stripe's own agreements (including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement). Wondr Out does not receive or store your bank or full tax details — you provide those directly to Stripe.
Payouts are released on Stripe's schedule once funds have cleared. We may delay, withhold, adjust or reverse amounts owed to you where there is a refund, chargeback, suspected fraud, a breach of these terms, or a legal requirement to do so.
Buyers may be entitled to a refund in line with our Refund Policy and applicable law. If a sale of your content is refunded or charged back, the corresponding amount (including your share and any related fees) is deducted from your earnings or future payouts. You are responsible for making sure what you sell is accurate and delivers what buyers are promised.
You are responsible for your own taxes on money you earn through the creator program, including any income tax and, if it applies to you, GST or equivalent. Wondr Out and Stripe may collect tax information from you and report or withhold where required by law. If you are unsure of your tax obligations, get your own advice.
If you add a booking link, affiliate link or discount code, any arrangement and any earnings from it are between you and the relevant business — Wondr Out is not a party to it and is not responsible for it. You are responsible for disclosing paid, sponsored or affiliate content as required by law.
We handle your personal information (such as your email and profile details) in line with our Privacy Policy. Your public creator profile, handle and content are visible to anyone using Wondr Out.
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for your content and agree to cover Wondr Out for losses or claims arising from content you submit, or content you sell, that breaks these terms. Wondr Out provides the creator program "as is" and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
You can stop being a creator at any time by contacting us. We may end or change the program, or these terms, at any time. If we make material changes, we'll let creators know. Any earnings owed to you up to the date your account ends remain payable, subject to sections 8 and 9. Sections 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13 and any others that should reasonably continue, survive after your account ends.
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
